A background in yoga is appreciated because this class builds upon the basic asanas by integrating vinyasa flows, held postures, and pranayama. We explore the realm of meditation in motion – Dhyana and Samadhi.
Dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (absorption) are the final three rungs of Yoga. It is attention itself, which is progressively moving inward through these few stages: Attention leads to concentration (dharana). Concentration leads to meditation (dhyana). Meditation leads to absorption (samadhi).
